No (GPS) way

 "No GPS way" - Ein Zeichen/Signal unserer Zeit?

Einmal mehr eine Tafel die anzeigt, dass diese Strasse keine (geeignete) GPS-Route ist. Diese Strasse ist, gemäss meiner Kenntnis, nur mit Personenwagen befahrbar; und zwar mit Vorsicht. Lastkraftwagen sind hier definitiv fehl am Platze (siehe Fahrverbot).

Offenbar vertraut Mann/Frau den Navigationsgeräten doch etwas zu sehr. Ein Blick in eine Strassenkarte zeigt sofort welche Route besser geeignet ist. Vorausgesetzt man ist in Besitz einer solchen. Das alte Sprichwort gilt also immer noch: Vertrauen ist gut, Kontrolle ist besser…

"No GPS way" - A sign of the Times?

Once again a sign indicating that this road is not a (suitable) GPS track. This road is, as far as I know, only passable with passenger cars; and with caution. Trucks are definitely out of place here (see driving ban).

Apparently men/women trust the navigation devices a bit too much. A look at a road map shows immediately which route is more suitable. Provided that one is in possession of such a map. The old saying still applies: Trust is good, control is better...
