Logik? / Logic?

Aussagenlogik und Marketing scheinen einander nicht sehr gut zu vertragen. Oder ist diese Aussage absichtlich so?

Predictive logic and marketing don't seem to get along very well with each other. Or is this statement intentional?

 

Kopflos / Headless

 Der Ausverkauf, in Neudeutsch «Sale», ist wieder mal voll im Gange oder besser gesagt schon wieder. Kurz gesagt, der «Sale» wird zum Dauerzustand. Ob dies der Sache dienlich ist, ist aus meiner Sicht fraglich. Die Schaufensterpuppe deren Kopf bzw. dessen Silhouette nur noch als Drahtgeflecht dargestellt wird, zeigt «nur» noch das zu verkaufende Objekt. Kopf/Hirn werden dabei nicht mehr benötigt…

The sale is once again in full swing, or rather it has started again. In short, the "sale" is becoming permanent. Whether this helps the cause is questionable in my view. The dummy, whose head or silhouette is only depicted as a wire mesh, "only" shows the object for sale. The head/brain are no longer needed...

Intelligenz oder Verfressenheit? / Intelligence or gluttony? / Intelligence ou gourmandise?

Bergdohlen, im Berner Oberland auch «Tächa» genannt, gelten als intelligente Vögel. In touristisch erschlossenen Gebieten haben sie sich sehr gut an den Menschen gewohnt und zeigen grosses Interesse an übriggebliebenen Speiseresten an. Wie hier, wo eine Dohle sich mit Pommes Frites verpflegt. Interessant, ja amüsant ist es zu beobachten wie die Vögel sich der einzelnen Pommes Frites nähern und diese verzehren. So würde ich eher auf Intelligenz als auf Verfressenheit dieser Spezies tendieren.

 

Mountain choughs, also known as "Tächa" in the Bernese Oberland, are considered intelligent birds. In tourist areas, they have become very accustomed to humans and show great interest in leftover food. Like here, where a chough is feeding on French fries. It is interesting, even amusing, to observe how the birds approach the individual chips and eat them. I would tend to suspect intelligence rather than appetite in this species.

Les choucas des tours, également appelés "Tächa" dans l'Oberland bernois, sont considérés comme des oiseaux intelligents. Dans les régions touristiques, ils se sont très bien habitués à l'homme et manifestent un grand intérêt pour les restes de nourriture. Comme ici, où un choucas se nourrit de frites. Il est intéressant, même amusant, d'observer comment les oiseaux s'approchent de chaque frite et la consomment. Ainsi, je tendrais plutôt vers l'intelligence que vers la gourmandise de cette espèce.

Im Winter ist nicht viel Betrieb auf dem Thunersee. Hinzu kommt noch die ausserordentliche Seeabsenkung, die die kommerzielle Schifffahrt einschränkt. So warten die Kursschiffe an einem ruhigen Plätzchen auf die kommende Saison, die im April beginnt.

There is not much activity on Lake Thun in winter. Added to this is the extraordinary lowering of the lake, which restricts commercial shipping. So the scheduled boats wait in a quiet spot for the coming season, which begins in April.

En hiver, il n'y a pas beaucoup d'activité sur le lac de Thoune. A cette situation s'ajoute l'abaissement exceptionnel du lac, qui limite la navigation commerciale. Ainsi, les bateaux de ligne attendent dans un endroit calme la prochaine saison qui débute en avril.

Ausserordentliche Seeabsenkungen am Thunersee

Alle 4 Jahre wir eine ausserordentlichen Seeabsenkung desThunersees durchgeführt. Vom 20. Januar bis 20. Februar 2024 wird also der Thunersee auf einem Pegel von 557.00 m ü. M. gehalten. Mit dem Ziel, dass Bauarbeiten an Uferbefestigungen etc. durchgeführt werden können. Für die Bevölkerung der Region Thun stellt dies eine kleine Attraktion dar, da nun Teile des Seeufers begehbar sind, welche sich sonst unter Wasser befinden. Die Schifffahrt auf dem Thunersee hat dies natürlich gravierende Folgen. Schiffe/Boote die sich im seichten Gewässer befinden müssen entfernt werden (könnte sonst recht teuer werden). Die öffentliche Schifffahrt der BLS wird in einem reduzierten Betrieb zwischen Hünibach und Neuhaus weitergeführt. Bereits im Voraus hat das Gejammer der betroffenen Organisationen und Verbände in den Medien eingesetzt. So nach dem Motto “the same procedure as every four years". Nutzen sie die Zeit und machen sie einen Spaziergang entlang dem Thunersee. Es lohnt sich!

 

 Extraordinary lake drawdowns on Lake Thun

Tous les 4 ans, un abaissement extraordinaire du niveau du lac de Thoune est effectué. Du 20 janvier au 20 février 2024, le lac de Thoune sera donc maintenu à un niveau de 557,00 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer. Dans le but de permettre la réalisation de travaux de construction sur les berges, etc. Pour la population de la région de Thoune, cela représente une petite attraction, car certaines parties de la rive du lac, qui se trouvent normalement sous l'eau, sont désormais praticables. Cela a bien sûr de graves conséquences pour la navigation sur le lac de Thoune. Les bateaux qui se trouvent dans les eaux peu profondes doivent être retirés (sinon, cela pourrait coûter très cher). La navigation publique de la BLS sera maintenue avec un service réduit entre Hünibach et Neuhaus. Les organisations et associations concernées ont déjà commencé à se plaindre à l'avance dans les médias. Selon la devise "the same procedure as every four years". Profitez du temps libre pour vous promener le long du lac de Thoune. Cela en vaut la peine !

 Es gibt ein französisches Sprichwort «une hirondelle ne fait pas le printemps», das sich auch auf dieses Bild bezieht («une abeille ne fait pas le printemps»). Eine Biene (fotografiert am 28.01.2024) die Nahrung auf einer Krokus Blume sucht ist doch etwas früh (gemessene Aussentemperatur 10°C am 28.01.2024).

There is a French saying "une hirondelle ne fait pas le printemps", which also refers to this picture ("une abeille ne fait pas le printemps"). A bee (photographed on 28.01.2024) looking for food on a crocus flower is a bit early (measured outside temperature 10°C on 28.01.2024).

Il existe un proverbe français "une hirondelle ne fait pas le printemps", qui se réfère également à cette photo ("une abeille ne fait pas le printemps"). Une abeille (photographiée le 28.01.2024) qui cherche de la nourriture sur une fleur de crocus, c'est quand même un peu tôt (température extérieure mesurée 10°C le 28.01.2024).
