Bad light conditions – schlechte Lichtverhältnisse

Kürzlich besuchte ich das Stadt Theater Bern oder besser gesagt „Konzert Theater Bern“. Das Gebäude stammt aus dem Jahr 1903 und soll nun renoviert werden. Für mich war dies der letzte Besuch vor dessen Renovation. Ich bin gespannt wie es danach aussieht.

Auf dem Programm stand "Romeo und Julia". Schon vor der Vorstellung wurden die Zuschauer darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass während der Vorführung weder gefilmt noch fotografiert werden darf. Bei der vorhandenen Beleuchtung ist aber Filmen und Fotografieren nahezu unmöglich. Ok neue Kameras weisen eine Empfindlichkeit von bis zu ISO 25'000 auf. Doch das kostet Geld... Somit blieb mir nichts anderes übrig als die Künstler im Foyer abzulichten…

Am Ende der Pause gab es doch noch ein Möglichkeit

Recently I visited the Municipal Theatre of Berne now calls “Konzert Theater Bern”. The building erected in 1903 will now be renovated. For me this was the last visit in the old building. I am curious how it will look like after the renovation.
The program consisted of "Romeo and Juliet". The visitors were reminded that taking pictures or making movies was not allowed during the demonstration. For the existing light conditions this is (almost) impossible. Ok new cameras have a sensitivity of up to ISO 25,000. But that costs money. So I had no other choice to take pictures from the artists in the foyer...

Dies ist mein 100ster Post in diesem Blog. In einem anderen Zahlensystem sieht diese Zahl etwas anders aus. Kurz gesagt dieser Post ist eigentlich nichts besonders; es ist nur ein weiterer Beitrag.

Briefmarken sind heute rar und wen man keine zuhause hat, so ist es heute gar nicht mehr so einfach sich neue Briefmarken zu beschaffen. Besonders an einem Sonntag. In meine Falle konnte ich mein Problem so lösen, dass ich meine Abstimmungsunterlagen selber zu den Behörden der Stadt Thun brachte. Und sogar zu Fuss! Unterwegs traf ich auf eine Einrichtung, die auf den Campingplätzen in den USA und Kanada oft antraf und sehr zu schätzen wusste:

„der Bücherschrank“

Eine Einrichtung wo Mann/Frau seine gelesenen Bücher deponieren kann und gleichzeitig andere von anderen Lesern deponierte Bücher zum Lesen wieder mitnehmen kann. Der Begriff vom öffentlichem Bücherschrank ist hier und hier beschrieben. Eine sympathische Institution mit Nachhaltigkeit.

This is my 100th post for this blog. In other numbering systems, this figure looks somewhat different. Due to that fact, this post is nothing special; it is just another contribution.
Today stamps are rare and if you do not you do not have any stamps at home; it is no longer that easy to obtain new ones. Especially on a Sunday. In my case, I was able to solve my problem so that I brought my voting documents myself to the authorities of the city of Thun. On my way to the authorities I met on a much appreciated device that is often encountered on the campgrounds in the US and Canada:

"the bookcase"

A facility where man/woman can deposit his books read and simultaneously can take back to read other deposited by other books. The concept of public bookcase is described here and here. A sympathetic institution with sustainability.
