Photo Münsingen 2023

 Alle Jahre wieder, Photo Münsingen! Eine Foto Ausstellung organisiert durch den Fotoclub Münsingen auf dem Schlossgut Areal – in Münsingen (wo denn sonst). Und zwar immer über das Auffahrtswochende (Wochenende von Christi Himmelfahrt). Ein von mir aus gesehen idealer Zeitpunkt, wo Mann/Frau Zeit hat, den Anlass mit seinem vielfältigen Programm zu besuchen. Da hat es für jeden etwas: Vorträge, Wettbewerbe, Ausstellungen ja sogar Firmen stellen ihre Produkte vor (kein Verkauf). Der Eintritt ist frei!

Every year again, Photo Münsingen! A photo exhibition organised by the Fotoclub Münsingen on the Schlossgut grounds - in Münsingen (where else). And always over the Ascension weekend. From my point of view, this is an ideal time for men and women to visit the event with its varied programme. There is something for everyone: lectures, competitions, exhibitions and even companies present their products (no sale). Admission is free!

Demokratie?!

 Also was ist Demokratie?

Ein Frage die wir uns heute wieder einmal stellen müssen. Ich war kürzlich an einer Generalversammlung einer Regionalbank in der Schweiz. Die Traktanden waren einfach klar und übersichtlich. Als Folge der Covid-19 Pandemie mussten die Statuten der Bank angepasst werden. Ein Aktionär ergriff das Votum und äusserte sich zu den Anpassungen. Er wünschte dass die Generalversammlung nur in ausserordentlichen Situationen als Videokonferenz durchgeführt werden sollte. Das Wort "ausserordentlich" fehlte in den neuen Statuten. Nach etlichem Hin- und Her- schlug die Präsidentin des Verwaltungsrates vor, dass der entsprechende Artikel in den Statuten mit der zugehörigen Klausel "ausserordentlich" versehen wird. Kleine Ursache, grosse Wirkung:

• Die neuen Statuten wurden mit grossem Mehr angenommen
• Der Verwaltungsrat hört dem Souverän zu
• Die Aktionäre stehen hinter dem Verwaltungsrat und der Führung der Bank

Fazit:

Ein im Vergleich mit anderen Banken kleine Bank, hat das Vertrauen seiner Aktionäre (keiner der Aktionäre hat mehr als 5% Anteil an der Bank).

Für mich ist dies gelebte Demokratie!

So what is democracy?

A question we have to ask ourselves once again today. I was recently at a general meeting of a regional bank in Switzerland. The agenda was simply clear and concise. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, the bank's statutes had to be amended. One shareholder took the vote and commented on the adjustments. He wanted the General Meeting to be held as a video conference only in extraordinary situations. The word "extraordinary" was missing in the new Articles of Association. After some back and forth, the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors proposed that the corresponding article in the Articles of Association be provided with the associated clause "extraordinary". Small cause, big effect:

- The new Articles of Association were adopted by a large majority

- The Board of Directors listens to the Sovereign

- The shareholders stand behind the Board of Directors and the management of the bank

Conclusion:

A small bank compared to other banks, has the trust of its shareholders (none of the shareholders has more than 5% stake in the bank).

For me, this is democracy in real life!

Alors qu'est-ce que la démocratie ?

C'est une question que nous devons nous poser une fois de plus aujourd'hui. J'ai récemment assisté à l'assemblée générale d'une banque régionale en Suisse. L'ordre du jour était tout simplement clair et concis. Suite à la pandémie de Covid-19, les statuts de la banque ont dû être adaptés. Un actionnaire a pris la parole et s'est exprimé sur les adaptations. Il souhaitait que l'assemblée générale ne se déroule en vidéoconférence que dans des situations extraordinaires. Le mot "extraordinaire" ne figurait pas dans les nouveaux statuts. Après moult tergiversations, la présidente du conseil d'administration a proposé que l'article correspondant dans les statuts soit assorti de la clause "extraordinaire" correspondante. Petite cause, grands effets :

- Les nouveaux statuts ont été adoptés à une large majorité.

- Le conseil d'administration à l'écoute du souverain

- Les actionnaires soutiennent le conseil d'administration et la direction de la banque

Conclusion :

Une petite banque, comparée à d'autres, a la confiance de ses actionnaires (aucun d'entre eux ne détient plus de 5% des parts de la banque).

Pour moi, c'est de la démocratie en action !

Diese Kamera wurde zwischen 1977 und 1978 durch die Firma Nippon Kogaku hergestellt. Sie war eine der ersten Kameras die neu unter dem Namen Nikon angeboten wurde. Sie funktioniert immer noch bestens. Einfach, robust und unverwüstlich.

Vergleichbar mit der Kamera ist dieses Fernglas der Firma Rodenstock Modell Gemar 6x30. Er stammt wohl aus den 60er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts. Offenbar wurde dieses Model bereits früher produziert (in der 40er Jahren für die Deutsche Wehrmacht). Genaueres zu diesem Modell konnte ich nicht finden. Auch dieses Fernglas funktioniert immer noch bestens.

Beide optischen Geräte funktionieren seit Jahrzehnten einwandfrei. Dem sagt man heute Nachhaltigkeit…

This camera was manufactured between 1977 and 1978 by the company Nippon Kogaku. It was one of the first cameras newly offered under the Nikon brand. It still works very well. Simple, robust and indestructible.

Comparable to the camera is this pair of binoculars from the company Rodenstock model Gemar 6x30. It probably dates from the 60s of the last century. Apparently, this model was produced earlier (in the 40s for the German Wehrmacht). I could not find more detailed information about this model. This binocular is still working fine, too.

Both optical devices have worked flawlessly for decades. This is what they say sustainability today...

Despite concrete, steel and asphalt, nature cannot be stopped.

Honi soit qui mal y pense...

 Es ist Brutzeit und diese Kohlmeisen sind emsig auf Nahrungssuche für ihre Jungmannschaft. Offenbar sind beide Vogeleltern an der Futterbeschaffung beteiligt. Ein emsiges Kommen und Gehen. Dabei fällt auf, dass ein Vogel 5 bis 7 Sekunden für die Fütterung benötigt, und der andere 20 bis 25 Sekunden. Ein Schelm, wer Böses dabei denkt…

 

It is breeding season and these coal tits are busily foraging for their young. Obviously both bird parents are involved in the foraging. A busy coming and going. It is noticeable that one bird takes 5 to 7 seconds to feed, and the other 20 to 25 seconds. Honi soit qui mal y pense…

C'est la saison de la nidification et ces mésanges charbonnières s'affairent à la recherche de nourriture pour leurs jeunes. Apparemment, les deux parents participent à la recherche de nourriture. C'est un va-et-vient incessant. On remarque qu'il faut 5 à 7 secondes à l'un des oiseaux pour se nourrir, et 20 à 25 secondes à l'autre. Honi soit qui mal y pense…
