Immer noch im Einsatz – Still in use

Und dies seit mehr als 60 Jahren! Dieses Postauto (Typ Saurer L4C, 30 Sitzplätze, Motor mit 6 Zylinder und 125 PS) war im Postautodienst zwischen den Orten Huttwil und Wyssachen. Heute ist dieser Oldtimer für private Anlässe (Hochzeiten, Geburtstage, Vereins- und Betriebsausflüge) aber auch öffentliche Veranstaltungen wie z.B.: der Emmentalbahn im Einsatz. Eine Fahrt mit diesem Zeugen aus einer Zeit, wo Bergstrassen oft eng und unübersichtlich waren, kann ich nur empfehlen.

And this for more than 60 years! This postal bus (type Saurer L4C, 30 seats, engine with 6 cylinders and 125 hp) was in postal bus service between the towns of Huttwil and Wyssachen. Today this vintage car is used for private events (weddings, birthdays, club and company outings) but also for public events such as: The Emmental Railway. I can only recommend a ride in this witness from a time when mountain roads were often narrow and confusing.
