Frühblüher / Early bloomers

Krokusse sowie Schneeglöckchen sind die ersten Vorboten des kommenden Frühlings. Sie werden oft auch als «Frühblüher» bezeichnet. Sobald es warm genug ist, trifft man auch auf Bienen, welche die Blüten besuchen. Offenbar sind diese Frühblüher sehr wichtig für die Bienen. Man sieht es ihnen auch an. Sie transportieren die geernteten Pollen an ihrem dritten Beinpaar in Form von «Höschen».

Biene an der Arbeit / Bee at work

Crocuses and snowdrops are the first signs of the coming spring. They are often referred to as ‘early bloomers’. As soon as it is warm enough, bees can be seen to be visiting the flowers. These early bloomers are obviously very important for the bees. You can see it in their behaviour. They transport the harvested pollen on their third pair of legs in the form of ‘knickers’.
