2 Krücken - 1 Hasselblad / 2 Crutches - 1 Hasselblad

Nun sind sie da, die Bilder die ich mit zwei Krücken und einer Hasselblad Kamera gemacht habe. Ein nicht ganz einfaches Unterfangen, denn eine Mittelformatkamera benötigt einfach 2 Hände. Wohin dann mit den Krücken? Mit Vorteil an einem sicheren Ort deponieren, damit sie nicht zu Boden fallen. Danach die Kamera aus dem Rucksack nehmen, Bildausschnitt wählen, Belichtung messen und falls notwendig korrigieren und ganz ruhig auslösen. Tönt ganz einfach. Ja wenn man auf zwei gesunden Beinen steht.  Mit einem gesunden und einem reparierten Bein wird die Sache etwas schwieriger. Es scheint aber doch geklappt zu haben. Bis aus einem analogen Film ein digitales Bild wird, kann viel, sehr viel Zeit verstreichen. Bei mir begründet sich der der grosse Zeitraum durch folgende Umstände:

• Durch meine Knieoperation war ich in meiner Beweglichkeit doch recht behindert.
• Es war zu kalt in der Waschküche den Schwarzweissfilm zu entwickeln. Bei einer Raumtemperatur von 14°C habe ich schlichtweg keinen Mut dazu.
• Und schlussendlich muss der entwickelte Film noch eingescannt und nachbearbeitet werden. Auch da braucht Zeit.

Resultat: Mehr als einen Monat Verzögerung.

Now they are here, the images I made with two crutches and a Hasselblad camera. It‘s not an easy task, because a medium format camera just needs 2 hands. Where to place the crutches (Advantageously, a safe place to deposit, so they don’t fall to the ground)? Then take the camera out of the backpack. Selecting the frame, measure exposure and correct if necessary and expose. Sounds easy. Yes, if you stand on two healthy legs. With a healthy and a «repaired» leg, it’s a bit more difficult. But it seems to have worked. In order to get a digital image from an anlog film you may need some time. Sometimes quite a lot… For me, the great period of time came from the following circumstances:

• Through my knee surgery, I was quite hindered in my mobility 
• In order to develop a black and white film it was too cold in the laundry room. I have simply no courage to develop a film at a room temperature of 14°C. 
• And finally, the developed film needs to be scanned and retouched. This needs additional time.

Result: More than a month of delay.
