Im Herbst 2020 fand eine Foto Ausstellung der beiden Schweizer Fotografen Emanuel Gyger und Arnold Klopfenstein in Berlin statt. Die beiden Herren aus dem Kurort Adelboden entdeckten das Genre Skifotografie in den 20er und 30er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts. Die Kameras in den 20er und 30er Jahren sind nicht zu vergleichen mit den Modernen Kameras und Smartphones von heute. Die Lichtempfindlichkeit der Filme war tief. Fotografieren wie es heute üblich ist war schlichtweg nicht möglich. Da musste genauesten geplant werden um gute Bilder «in den Kasten zu bekommen». So nach dem Motto das Richtige am richtigen Ort zur richtigen Zeit.
Die Firma der beiden Fotografen existiert
noch heute unter dem Namen «Photo Klopfenstein» in Adelboden. Ja und Abzüge von
den tollen Negativen sind immer noch erhältlich. Oder sogar als Bildband.

still available. Or even as a photo book.
