Irgendwie hat man den Eindruck, dass dieser Skilift au seiner anderen Zeit stammt. Sehr wahrscheinlich ist dem auch so (der Skilift taucht in den 80er Jahren des letzten Jahrhunderts in den Topgrafischen Karten von swisstopo auf). Diese Technologie genannt „Poma Stangenschlepper“ wurde von Jean Pomagalski in den Jahren 1936/37 entwickelt. Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Bügelliften nach dem Prinzip von Ernst Constam (Patent 1936) werden weniger, dafür grössere, Seilrollen an den Stützen verwendet. An Stelle eines Bügels verwendet der Poma Stangenschlepper Teleskopstangen mit einem Teller Gehänge, die flexibel mit dem Zugseil verbunden werden. Diese Konstruktion erlaube eine flexible Linienführung der Skilift Trasse. Was bei Liften im Hochgebirge oft notwendig ist. Im Gegensatz zu den neuen Technoligen ist die Förderleistung einer solchen Lifts eher bescheiden. Als Folge davon, sind aber die Skipisten auch nicht so voll. Was aus meiner Sicht ist dies ein grosser Vorteil. Die Technologie dieser Skilifte ist einfach und robust. Kurz gesagt: „keep it simple and stupid“.
